Anna and Colin celebrated their wedding this June at the Lareau Farm Inn in Waitsfield, Vermont, and I am HERE for it all!
Lareau Farm Inn is the home of the infamous American Flatbread, that home-style oven-baked pizza that so many Vermonters love – but the Lareau Farm also hosts classic farmhouse weddings at their charming country Inn, nestled in the Vermont Mad River Valley. It was SUCH a fun and dynamic venue to photograph a Vermont wedding, featuring everything from sprawling vegetable and flower gardens, a peaceful river, fun lawn games, and the classic wood-fire oven that we all love so much!
Anna, a Boston native, and Colin (true Vermonter) met after attending college in Burlington, Vermont and ended up hitting the road to travel west, living in Eugene Oregon together for the past several years. Anna described them as “best friends, foodies and music lovers who are obsessed with our two dogs and Harry Potter”, which made all the Harry Potter-inspired details from their wedding just perfect for the their celebration.
The Farmhouse Vermont Wedding
Celebrating with these two amazing humans at the Lareau Farm Inn was such a blast and I loved capturing all of the behind-the-scenes moments – from the first look as they read each other their vows out of their Harry Potter vow books, to visiting with a live (and VERY cute) owl, to the Sorting Hat Seating Chart, and all the dancing and celebrations in between.
As far as Vermont wedding venues go, the Lareau Farm Inn was such a perfect place for an intimate, fun-filled weekend with all the couple’s friends and family. Plus, a huge shoutout to the Vermont wedding vendors that helped bring this day together for Anna and Colin!
