I was born in a small red house in the mountains of Vermont, a place that I discovered a love for photography in the natural landscapes within the surrounding areas that I explored. I grew up to be a travel junkie — making my way from Vermont to California, Arizona, and back again. My passion grew from photographing the stillness within landscapes and wildlife to the beautiful movement in moments of our everyday lives.
As your photographer, I want to be more than just a vendor – my hope is that we come out of our experience together as new lifelong friends. I aim to tell your story by documenting those grand moments, along with the more quiet and intimate pieces of your life. I want to capture you as your true self — all the epic stories, laughs, and special memories that you will fondly look back upon.
I only book 20 weddings per year so that I can focus on building meaningful relationships with the amazing couples that I work with. I offer a complimentary engagement session with most wedding packages as a way for us to get to know each other, to help you get comfortable in front of the camera, and to have a FUN adventure together before your wedding day! I also LOVE to travel, so if you’re planning a celebration outside of New England, don’t be shy to get in touch today!
"I want all individuals, couples and families to see themselves in a way they have never before -- in all the authentically beautiful and quirky ways that make them whole. "
If you love being outside and exploring new places.
If you crave the magical golden hour for your photos, and are cool with me being your third wheel during that romantic sunset.
If you are okay with bad jokes, or can maybe teach me some new ones.
If you are down to throw on some boots under your wedding dress and adventure in the snow.
If you aren’t afraid to get goofy and laugh, possibly while shoving wedding cake in each other’s faces.
If you are open to being spontaneous and creative while taking portraits that are a bit less ‘posed’, and a little more natural.
If you are cool with me geeking out over photography things, especially when I get that first epic shot.
Sound like a match? You know what to do!
Amelia was able to recommend the shoot location, coordinated with the property (Shelburne Farms), and took us to three different sites to capture a variety of shots. I was nervous about going through the wedding shoot process (hair, makeup, etc.) without any bridesmaids around to help, but Amelia has an eye for detail and captured the event beautifully (and in freezing cold temperatures, too!). She was fun, friendly, and clearly passionate about her work, and we received the proofs in just a week — even though it was over the New Year’s holiday. We loved them! I recommend her wholeheartedly.

Let’s be real, YOU guys are the reason I do this. I love photography, yes, but most of all I love RAVING fans. I want our time together to be nothing short of the best time you never thought you’d have in front of a camera.
