June in Vermont has proven to be one of the best months so far this year for engagement photos — with the golden sunsets, warm Lake Champlain breezes, and stunning Adirondack Mountain views — these are the things that remind me how special New England is to my heart and just why I became a Vermont wedding photographer.

Kelsey and John reached out to me when I was just dipping my toes back into mini-sessions early this month. They had a vision of the mountain and lake backdrop at the All Souls Interfaith Gathering, a small spiritual haven nestled in Shelburne, Vermont. It had been two years since I visited the space and was brought back to memories of summer wedding days back in 2018 when I photographed Ella & Emily’s wedding.

It was such a pleasure meeting these two amazing humans and capturing some epic moments as the sun went down behind summer clouds. Congrats Kelsey and John, can’t wait to see you celebrate your love next year!
