Tara and Paul celebrated their marriage on the first weekend of March in Stowe, Vermont. It was one of those slightly chilly but sunny spring days where you can feel the birds and animals start to come out of their hiding places to excitedly chatter, and the snow slowly starts to make way to eager buds poking out of the ground.

The Timberholm Inn was the perfect choice for this intimate celebration of 12, a classic Vermont homestead tucked into the quiet hillside of Stowe with abundant mountain views and a warm homey vibe.

Tara and Paul’s story was heartwarming, an unlikely couple that eventually came to be from the matchmaking at the hands of close friend (who then became their wedding officiant) that spied an opportunity to set up the two when Paul was her gardener. Let’s just say, things obviously worked out.

I was blown away by the decorative details that the couple put so much thought and hard work in to make this celebration so special. From the dreamcatchers floating in the wind of the gazebo, to the antique engagement ring and the incredible table setting and florals — not to mention the incredibly delectable food pairings and a gluten-free chocolate cake adorned with fresh strawberries — this intimate winter wedding day was just a dream.
